Big Hit with Bases

The innovative WOW Works TV training ended year one with the best show ever! Show #4 featured an illustration of the new chapter of the Air Force Community Center Events Manual, written by Wiersma, and awarded 12 bases with the Best of the Best Ideas awards.

The show, beamed via satellite to every Air Force base, features segments beginning with an ice breaker activity and including Hot Services News, Back to Basics with Betsy, In the Spotlight (great ideas from the field) and Ideas*Ideas*Ideas (new ideas for targeted populations served by Air Force Community Centers). WOW Works also includes Time for Fun featuring new products and services and a "Magic Moment" ending inspirational tidbit.

Wiersma writes and produces the show and co-hosts with Eliza Nesmith and Margaret Barnett from the Air Force. Plans are now beginning for topics and treatments for WOW Works 2005.
